Also called John Boyle Reservoir, J.C. Boyle Reservoir and Topsy Reservoir, this 450 acre reservoir is located about 15 miles west of Klamath Falls and is roughly bisected by
Highway 66. Above the bridge, the reservoir is very shallow and wide, while below the bridge, the reservoir is narrow and deep. There are a few large rainbows in the reservoir during the cooler months that drop downstream out of the Klamath River, but the primary fisheries involve warmwater fish. Boyle has good populations of brown bullheads and white crappies and also contains largemouth bass, black crappies, yellow perch, pumpkinseed sunfish and sacramento perch. Reputed to hold some monster crappies and a bass weighing more than ten pounds was found dead in the reservoir near the dam during the late 1980's. Doesn't receive much fishing pressure.
