This eight acre lake is located just west of the "Old Highway" almost directly across Highway 101 from Eel Lake about a mile north of the north turnoff to Lakeside and Tenmile Lakes. It has been a cutthroat trout lake in the past and still provides fair fishing for the cutts. Some landlocked cohos to about 11-inches used to reside in the lake, but have not entered the catch in recent years. Presently, the best fishing is for small largemouth bass measuring between six and ten inches. Very few larger bass are taken with the best spots being near the Clear Creek inlet and the southwest corner of the lake. A few bass are now in Shuttpelz Lake. P Heley
