Works great up at Sekiu/Pillar point. Fast troll usually in October with a streamer right on top. Fun!

When they get lock jaw I want another option and this seems great! I fished for Pike with green top water during spawning and it made them mad and they hit.
Thanks,

I get a handful every year on the fly rod chugging and popping wogs and gurglers. It takes fish that haven't been snagged at and the fresher the better. However, this year I managed a couple on low water stale higher pressure scenarios. I threw it as a last resort and, bang! So you never know. My buddy invested in a couple spooks after witnessing success to throw off his spinning rod. Know this though, they do miss and you should not set till the fish is on. Sucks to work hard for a bite then pull it away from them.KING KONG COHO wrote:Fantastic video and GREAT action! Anyone ever attempt this technique in Washington state?? If you get stumped or get only slashes and no takes pm me and I may have a couple ideas. You need pink for sure and purple for the changeup or blue. At any rate have a darker one but always bet on pink. Keep me updated, a coho on top is good as it gets.KING KONG COHO wrote:Thanks for the tip skagit510!
