bank fishing

Post by montolio » Fri Feb 26, 2016 11:15 pm

I moved to the area just over a yr ago and have had mild success fishing the chehalis from the bank behind Walmart for salmon. I was with wondering are there any decent bank fishing opportunities In or around grays harbour for salmon or steelhead using spinners or If need be I can learn to use bobber and eggs or figure out how to fish a jig

You have some great fishing opportunities in your area.

Using the River Index on this site as well as google earth and any local reports you can muster up will get you at least somewhat familiar with the Wynoochie, Satsop, and Humptulips rivers.

Up north on the OLP are countless streams when fished at the right time of the season will yield decent results.

Don't overlook the Westport boat basin, as well as Hood Canal over in Mason County.
