Ive been trying to get back to fish at the mouth of the Colville River for a few weeks now, seems something always comes up like today I was called in for a night shift at work....but Thursday hopefully nothing will happen and I can make the 1.5hr drive up there. So my question is, anyone have any tips for bank fishing this spot? I went fishing there was I was 15 with my dad, the very day I got my first fishing license, and just happened we were checked by the game warden.....and truth be told that was the only time I've even been checked...that was 15 yrs ago and I dont remember catching anything that day lol.

Try elevating you hook about 24''above a slip sinker with marshmellow and a piece of worm for the Bows. Or try right on the bottom with a nightcrawler for a Walleye. My geuss is the water coming out of the Colville is fairly muddy right now, so I'm not sure what would work best. Walleye might be spawning in the submerged canyon of the Colville. Try a Walleye jig or a deep diving crank bait.

My best advice to you ruthven78 is Good Luck and enjoy the trip.
