New Record Tiger Trout in Fish Lake

Post by beerman1981 » Thu Jun 05, 2008 5:45 pm

Check out this artical. This man has been hunting for this fish for several years and finally caught it, doubling the previous state record for a tiger trout. I read this in the Yakima Herald today, and there was a picture (it was very impressive), but I can't track down the picture now. Anyways, worth a read:

I knew it was only a matter of time for that record to be broken, but by this much. WOW! That trout is huge. Congrats to Evan Roda for pursuing that fish and catching it. Great story.

We'll definitely be seeing this fish on the cover of a couple of magazines.

You took the words right out of my mouth. It was about time for the record to be broken, but who would have thought it would be doubled? F&H news, next issue, cover page.

The dude works in the Fly Fishing department of Cabelas in Post Falls Idaho. He was on cloud 9 when his co-workers told me the story last Saturday.

Lucky Dog. Good for him.

I didn't say the lol part... That picture is the same exact picture that was in the Yakima Herald, I just couldn't find that artical with the picture attached to it. I've got a scanner and my grandparents save the newspaper, so I can even scan the artical with the picture attached. It is completely legit.

i guess its more of a question about the fish in the picture looking like the typical run of the mill tiger trout. nobody is questioning your accuracy of what the picture is.

And you believe the Yakima Herald? ROFLMAO

Nevertheless, I have confirmed that the fish is THE FISH. The dude looks a lot different when he is dressed in his Cabelas shirt and cleaned up. #-o

My thoughts are

WOW
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.
