LAKE WASHINGTON POOP FLOW..Yuck
I just want to get an idea on what people think about the sewage flow that flowed into Lk. Washington by the boat house rental area. Will you guys still fish around that area or Lk. Washington period?
I'm somewhat digusted myself because I would fish that area a lot. Will this effect the fish? I sure won't be eating fish from there..

I thought that the news said something about a large plant of brown trout in there. LOL. I think that is pretty disgusting myself but hey, $@%# happens.

Sewage flow? I hope your not talking about sanitary sewer, that's just illegal.

I did not hear, but I don't live there and will not be fishing Lake Washington anytime soon, Still ....................
The problem will be taken care of my nature fairly quickly. If the problem is ended, and the amount was not very very very large, the lake will be clean and free of problems within a few days to a couple of weeks. Mother Nature is more efficient than you think.

Too much water, so many fish, too little time.

If I remember the news right they "accidently" pumped 8 million gallons into the water over a 8 day period.Actualy here is the link to King 5 news.http://www.king5.com/localnews/environm ... 8397b.html

(LOL) OK, this ranks on the very very very bad scale. I would suggest that eating fish from there would take me far more than a few days to a couple of weeks for sure.shawn wrote:If I remember the news right they "accidently" pumped 8 million gallons into the water over a 8 day period.Actualy here is the link to King 5 news.http://www.king5.com/localnews/environm ... 8397b.html
I'd give the local area at least a year, and then see if the State has released any updates. JMHO:-&

To make matters worse, when I went out to fish the Juanita area last week the water was stained a dark color and looked a whole lot like sh*t. It was really bad. I honestly wouldn't eat a thing out of that lake anymore. Its ecosystem is in serious peril...Might have to change my username to "bookkilla" as fishing that lake is like fishing a sewer pond. It's gross...take a look if you're near it. People who live along Sheridan Beach say the water is the worst it's ever been in over 20 years!

That's just plain gross! The guy in charge will probably get promoted though.
