BEAVER LAKE

Hey does anyone know if there are any crawdads in beaver lake and if there are can u tell me the right bait and where to find them.

Hey fishingmachine, there are like 8 other threads about Beaver Lake, and a large list on what lakes have crawdads. Do some digging for some of your other questions. I'll spare you some time and say yes, use fish carcasses. I'd look for them around fallen trees and rocks. Someone I know was swimming on the park side and found a couple, so I'd say they're not too hard to find if you find even better structure.

thanks i have a trap so i might find a rocky area and just leave the trap there

Yeah but Pine lake is closed know so i cant so my best bet is to go to beaver i have an idea on where to find them.

Sam- What would be your preferance for bait, and have you ever tried to get crawdads out of beaver lake

Local fish. So fish out of that lake. Trout, bluegills, perch. I never do well on cat food.

Never tried it myself, always forget to leave the pots at home but I know people who have done it and have fair luck. Better off at Pine though. They have the Lousiana craws over there..And more of them...
