magic of the power eggs

went to my old reliable lake and got a bunch of trout, the drive there took longer than it did to limit out haha. but i gotta give it to the poweregg, the other people were all using various powerbait doughs and not catching much, largely due to the fact that they werent forming the nuggets on right and most flew off on the cast. today's hot egg colors were the fluorescent orange and rainbow, but i have just about every color on the shelf now, i love to experiment you see. got the trout dip also, but didnt need it today i suppose. oh and quick tip, make sure you look into the jars before you buy them, the number of eggs, and color vary quite a bit from jar to jar, the color really surprises me, i guess the longer its on the shelf the duller it gets, and some jars looked oily inside while some looked very dry, i took the oily, vibrant colored ones for good measure. hope this little tip helps somebody!
