can anyone tell me why the 50khz side of my transducer clicks when in use?

maybe it's in a frequency you can hear. Put your hand on the transducer when in 200ktz mode.

I'm guessing you are testing it in your driveway and not out on the water.

50kHz is just a tad outta our range, we top out at 20kHz, dogs I think are good to 40kHz to 50 if I remember correctly. Doesn't seem like it should make any audible noise, although my dual freq fish finder won't be here till the 20th, arrrrgggg, can't wait. I'll have to click it on and see if it makes any noise...

I have a humminbird matrix 25 dual beam fishfinder on my bow, and i can hear the click out of it as well.
