Northwest Fishing Reports

I got a rod from a friend tonight, Its a cabellas "Inner-cast". It has only one one line guide and then the line runs inside the hollow rod out the tip. Interesting rod, I went out to the pond a flipped a jig with it alittle. Anyone ever use these or know anything about them?

I don't think they stock them anymore. A few years ago they looked pretty cool but I wondered how much drag would be on the line running inside.

I guess if it doesn't work you could just convert it into a sweet blowgun!

Ha ha There real gimmicky and sounds like there crap. I played with it a little and seems ok. Nobody makes them anymore so there is my answer

when they were still being made, one of the complaints I read about was that the hole at the tip had a tendency to get plugged (by dirt, scum, goo etc. as you reeled the line back in). The clogged tip made it harder to cast and was difficult to clean out.

Sounds like it would make a nice cigarette holder or a one toker.
