MegaStrike - Customer Service

Post by dilbert » Mon Nov 12, 2007 9:54 am

I’ve been using the Yamamoto MegaStrike for several months now and have been pleased with the performance so I decided to try out the original scent. The first time I tried to use the new tube the gel gushed out through the tube crimp rather than going through the intended opening. Before it made too much of a mess I sealed the whole tube in a plastic bag, but somehow I managed to get a glob of it on my hat. This will now be my official scented fishing hat.

Not expecting much, I e-mailed MegaStrike with the lot number from the faulty tube crimp and explained what had happened. Just over an hour after I sent the e-mail I received a reply. They pulled a large sample of the tubes, some with the same lot number, and tested the crimps. None of them failed. They thanked me for notifying them and are sending me 2 replacement tubes for my inconvenience. Needless to say I’m quite pleased that they not only are sending me 2 replacements, but they also tested their products to ensure that no other faulty tubes were being sent out
