berkley air rods

what do you guys think of these rods? i know theyre no loomis or st croix, but i just needed to get a new 9'6 recently, but how do you berkley air owners like your rods? any issues with them? particularly the guides? this is my first rod with the ss304 inserts and idk how i feel about them yet haha

I like them. Good mid-priced rod that you won't cry over if it gets stepped on, but does the job. Never had any guide problems.

Just like mike said. Probably one of the best values and a nice stick. I own many rods with prices ranging to "that's insane never show the wife". I bought a couple of these as boat rods. I have two of the 9'6" 8-12 and a couple lighter drift rods. They are swell. I find myself using them more than my vanity sticks. You shouldn't be disappointed.

I've had good luck with them. Fred Meyer has rods 20% off right now too :)

I've liked mine, they're on sale every so often at OE if you're not in a hurry, good deal on those sales.
