new all purpose combo

i went to Joes today to pick out my birthday present, but found that the prices were a bit high for what i wanted to in dissapointment i went to wal-mart to get some grocerys and just found myself floating over to the fishing section. i ended up buying a 6'6" abu conolon and a Quantam Optix xr

all for about $50


i think this is a all-purpose set-up what do yall think?
