Fish Finders under $200

I've posted this on a couple other nation forums but figured it would work out better here. I'm looking for a FF, color or not under $200. I fish eastern wa., small to mid sized lakes, including long lake. I mainly fish for bass, walleye and crappie. More looking for a depth/temp and structure finderwell. Haven't been impressed with the bottom line models. Any suggestions?

I am also a big fan of Humminbird, they have quite a few models under $200.
I have heard good thinks about the Lowrance Eagle that goes for roughly $150. But all my experience is with Humminbird

A good way to get information about fish finders is by looking at customer reviews on one of the larger web sites (Cabelas, Bass Pro, etc). I value customer opinions much more than marketing hype.

well, I picked up a lowrance X96 for $199. I'll post up after I get to use it and let you all know if it falls apart.

I have the Humminbird 565PT. Check my review of it in this forum. The 565 itself is less than 200, but to get the portable setup/battery/charger etc, it brings it up to 250. The unit itself withou that stuff is like 160 or so and so worth it, great resolution, and temp sensor built in. Just check the this out, it's my review....I've used it a ton and it's rock solid.

Most other boats I recommend Lowrance, but for an inexpensive and yet portable unit the BottomLine Fish Buddy is a good package, especially in small water. Skip their side finder nonsense it's too small to be of any practical use.

This is how is setup my Humminbird Matrix 17 I mounted it in and on a small toolbox and used a battery from Tower Hobbies the one that they put in a starter box. The battery last for a week or more. Here some PIC.
