Northwest Fishing Reports

Well the weather was nice except for the wind so I headed down to the city park to take my 5 yr old and my neighbor kid to see what we could catch. When we got there I hooked up a night crawler and bobber for my boy and a size six black woolly bugger for the neighbor kid. My son ended up with 5 cutbows between18-22" and 7or 8 stocker rainbow and the neighbor boy(13) only got a few little ones. Needless to say the neighbor was disappointed but my son was not making it any easier he was calling the neighbor boy little fish guy. I plan on going back in the morning and picking up a dis. camera on the way I want to show you guys and gals those cutbows in the pond they are very pretty.

I forgot he switched over after fish 3

went back with the boys this morning got 4 fish right away and then things slowed down a bit. We ended up with 8 over 16" and about 10 under 12" most fish caught floating a half crawler with a pink gulp egg 2' off bottom. My son caught a couple casting himself with a bobber he was soooo happy:cheers: Got some good pics but the camera got pop spilled on it#-o I will go to Wall Mart and see if I can get it developed still[-o<

It is really nice having this pond less than a 1/2 mile away great for getting the kids fishing/catching:thumleft: :thumright

Went back with the 3 yr old today and he caught the biggest yet 22 1/2":cheers: we managed 6 or 7 more over 16" and a few dinks all in all a good day:cheers:

A final word anytime your putting kids, yours, his or theres on fish of any kind you are my kinda guy period and my Rod tips to you the value of doing these events alone can and in some cases save a kid from a choice latter on that could kill him so Fishaholictaz Fish on!!!!Great Job!!!
