strange bait

:batman:

Hey, I hope this topic hasn't been posted already, if it has please forgive me.
I was just curious to hear from some of you what is the craziest/strangest bait you've ever used with success for any kind of fishing. artificial baits or food baits.

I will be on the salt in the morining, and I know this is totaly cornball..... but there is a 7" shark on the boat. It is a toy of my son's. I can't help but want to hook it through the snout..... and send it out.
Grapes,,, hotdogs, gummy bears, etc.
Humor me for a laugh.

Bullheads bite anything. I've gotten them on all sorts of stuff..Bacon, gum, anything.

i've used hot dogs to catch flounder. kinda strange, not really though.
there's nothing better than standing on the side of a lake or river knowing that only a handful of people have stood in that exact spot and witness the beauty of mother nature first hand.

Caught a trout on a cigarette butt once. I was playing around telling everyone that these stocked fish will bite anything. :-&
Another one:
I was fishing a dropshot set-up with split shot weights and kept getting bit. I noticed the bite felt like bluegill but wondered why they would hit such a big plastic that I was using. I figured out that they were hitting the split shot. So I took my dropshot hook and clamped a split shot on the middle of it and ended up tagging a bunch of bluegill. Haven't tried it since but I would guess that they like the shape, size and metallic color. :-$

And I have used you garden variety of household goods as well. Hotdogs, corn, cheese, bread, hamburger, dogfood, catfood, spam, ohh I did once catch a nice catfish on Oberta's original beef jerky.

Sand toads for channel catfish in the Midwest. Great bait. It will only catch catfish, no gar or carp. Go figure!

Possum entrails for catfish also. But everything hits that.

Needlefish for Amberjack and Grouper!

Caught a fish using a very quick setup using a paper clip as a hook and no bait. Also spilled half my trail mix and started a feeding frenzy.
