You wanted the best ...

Post by Bisk1tSnGraV » Thu Sep 24, 2009 9:44 am

Yep KISS is coming back to Seattle. November 15th, part of the KISS Alive35 tour. My wife just got me tickets to the concert ... can't wait. Will probably be the last time I get a chance to be able to see them in concert. Man I love my wife!

KISS was the first rock and roll concert I ever went to. 1974. Those guys don't look like they've aged one day, LOL. It was a good concert. Man, my high school friend played that first album until it wore out.

Dishonorable discharge.
I enjoy the music but I'd be a dirty liar if I claimed to be a member of the KISS Army.
Now if Ozzy or Motley Crue had an army,I'd be a decorated veteran.

Not part of the Army ... not a paying member anyways. But you have to admit Gene knows how to get his $$$. Now if Floyd was touring as well it would be a banner year!

Yeah, each to his own on the music stuff. But I never was in for that Army.:-"
But I sure can appreciate it when somebody comes to down who you really have liked a lot over the years.

I was for all of um... a minute and a half. Thats about how long it took for my brother and I to trade Christmas albums in 1974. So I'm sure he's either already a. has tickets or b. will have tickets and trade work dates and kid to be reclaimed later if needed in order for him to go.

Deuce has to be one of the greatest intro rock tunes for a concert ever written. There's even cowbell in it. :dj:

BTW, every good KISS fan should have seen the movie "Detroit Rock City" for the ultimate KISS worship experience.

Where did they hide the walkers and oxygen tanks?

LOL ... They did perform for over 2 hours ... so they still have a little gas in the tank it seems. Was an awesome spectacle and a good memory for me and my son to share.

I'll bet it was way cool. Like a journey in a time machine. Can't believe my 16 year old wasn't interested.
