So, what's in your boat's name??????????

Post by smokum » Fri Feb 05, 2010 12:18 pm

We have a thread about our screen names and it gives us some insight as to who we are, (kinda)

I've seen some pretty creative boat names and there are even some websites you can access for ideas regarding such.

BUT, we here at WL are creative fishers and thinkers, therefore I'd like to know if you have a name for your dear floater and how you came about it.

My 17' Crestliner shares my screen name 'cause I didn't want to use some non-original copy of someone else's boat name.

Plus, I just thought it was a bit different and fits with our Northwest lexicons and my favorite way of eating salmon.

What did your significant other let you name yours???????????

Hell yeah, name it. You know? All of us have a cute little name for our vessels that we sometimes don't share with the "normal" people in the world.

Mine is "My Boat" but it isn't written on it any where. Its written name is Sears Gamefisher on the tag.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

I've got a South Fork Pontoon Boat and refer to it sometimes as "Ye 'Ol Windbag".

Mine was tagged "Little Red" and it sort of stuck. By the Swede!

Well, the lil' aluminum boat I have, which is currently in work with refinishing the hull, adding seats, and just geting a once over...That'll be names "THERE'S A HOLE IN THE BOAT!" as given by my wife...:-)

For the Pontoon boat now...I'm going to have to think about that~! Great to hear the names on here though!

I use to have a remote controlled boat that I named "Sunken Treasure" Which may have not been appropriate at the time ... but it um sprung a leak in the middle of a lake and well.... you know...
