It's not the nights that bother me. It is cutting floor tile outside with a wet saw in a blizzard that gets me:shaking:

Reminded me when i was still living in Michigan; however, cabin fever wasn't too bad just as long I was ice fishing.

Cold sucks! I am such a winter whimp. It's Okay for the end of hunting season and into Christmas, but by New Year's Day I'm ready to get back to my life.

It was too windy to take the boat out today. Those small lakes get REALLY choppy... :-({|=

Oh goody -- another cold front is on the way... #-o

To add insult to injury on a long winter, they are refusing to bring the lake to full pool here due to a lack of runoff (its been too damn cold!).

Sounds like another couple weeks of low water, and no boat launches for the masses.....

Tuesday: A slight chance of rain showers after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. South wind 6 to 8 mph becoming east. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow before 11pm, then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 32. South wind between 6 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Wednesday: A chance of snow showers before 11am, then rain showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 45. South wind between 10 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 11pm, then a slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday: A chance of snow showers, mixing with rain after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 11pm, then a chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: A chance of snow or rain showers. Cloudy, with a high near 45.

Friday Night: A chance of snow or rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.

It snowed down in the south sound overnight 1-2" worth in some locales. It warmed to 51F today in Bothell, so that's not too bad, but it was breezy out of the WSW at around 12MPH. Winter drags on.

Yes sir. Fishing isn't red hot, but I'm catching a few fish and it feels great to have something on the end of my line...

I wish that you folks on the other sides of the Cascades could get a share of some better weather as well.

The way things are going, I'll be fishing the early openers when the general season opens at the end of April. This morning it was 21 degrees. It is getting real old.

It was 29F in Bothell, WA. This can't be helping warm water species...but may be a boost for trout on larger lakes...I wish we had some warmer weather though, cause the place that I fish went from 50F surface temp down to 44F in less than 4 days and now it's 42.5F...not the best at all.

I don't remember hiding eggs in the snow before, we did sunday. I live between suncrest and deer park sordov, I still have a foot of snow on the north side of the house. Some encourgment of spring coming, is the dafidills poking through the couple of " of snow on the west side of the house. I am ready for 68 degree weather.
Well its not called Catching!

Great point! I was able to scratch an itch as long as there was ice on the lakes but now I'm kind of stuck in limbo. Not winter, not spring and the season not open across the board yet. I went down to Liberty Lake last weekend where they are supposedly pulling up to 8lb browns to try out a new (used, new to me) electric trolling motor and all I caught was a runny nose. It was cold and the fish weren't bitin'.

I'll wait for the opener and some better weather. I found a bass DVD I won from the monthly WL.com drawing while I was digging around for tax receipts so it and my latest issues of Field & Stream will have to do for now.

That would be great. I would really like to see the boats that you have been making. You are quite the craftsman!

We'll connect up this spring (if it ever gets here) and do some fishing.
