Anyone like College Football?

I am a college football junkie. I like college ball more than the NFL and don't say it's because my Chiefs haven't won a Super Bowl since 1971 when we won Super Bowl IV.

What's your favorite school(s)?
1. Oklahoma Sooners
2. Texas A&M Aggies
3. Kansas State Wildcats

I love college football as well, I'm a big fan of the underdogs but like some of the bigger schools as well.

On my always root against list
1) MONTANA (they normally beat the daylights out of EWU and I have to work with a bunch of UM alumni)
2) Ohio State ( Tressel beat EWU is the DivII semi finals while at Youngstown State then took the OSU job)
3) Notre Dame (always overated)
4) Michigan (living in the past)
5) USC (the rich only get richer)
6) Texas (don't know why can't stand them)

On my always root for:

1) Texas AM (traditon and hard nosed play)
2) Washington State (have to root for the home state and don't care for the W)
3) Virgina Tech (I love watching Frank Beamers Special teams and defense)
4) Eastern Wa, (they where nice enough to give my a degree. Division IAA but they normally make the playoffs)

Holy Smokes!!! I forgot my Pac-10 team. Washington State Cougars. I started liking them when Alex Brink started playing there. Great kid, eventhough in high school he played for Sheldon which beat my son's Cavaliers in the state semi-finals.

Still attend Clackamas High School games most Friday nights.

I prefer the NFL slightly above college ball. Being originally from Pennsylvania, I follow Penn State. My parents are both graduates as are some of my brothers and sisters. JoePa has a decent team this year that might contend for the Big 10 crown, especially considering Michigan's issues! If the Nittany Lions can get past Ohio State and Wisconsin then they'll be OK.

I've also taken a liking to Boise State and it's program. Any small college team that claims it will play "anybody, anytime, anywhere" has my vote and admiration! And that bowl victory over Oklahoma last year was incredible, an instant classic!

GO DAWGS!

If they can beat Ohio State this weekend, I see good things for rest of this season. Locker is an amazing athlete - can't wait to see him as a senior and in the pros.

I agree with the previous reason why college ball is more exciting. Here are mine:

1) UCLA (I know...)
2) Clemson (The "mother-land")
3) Oklahoma State (Just because)
4) Anyone playing ND, Michigan or Ohio State

Go Cougs! I prefer college over pro but I'm still a big Seahawk fan. I attend quite a few Coug games in person. There is nothing like the college football atmosphere in person. I'm such a big fan I'm not in this message board much. I spend all my time on Cougfan.com now.

What a great weekend for the Pac-10!!! Especially Oregon, Oregon Stae, and Washington State. Sorry, Husky fans, but Ohio State is a premier program.

Did ya see my Sooners! 158 points over the last three games!!!
