Im looking at replacing the jet boat's motor with a prop, so thought Id see if anyone was interested.
1980 E-rude 70hp jet. This came originally on the boat, and has been the most reliable motor Ive ever seen. It has been more reliable than my 2004 Yamaha 4 stroke, oddly enough. Starts quick every time, never loads up when trolling, and doesn't have any heat-related issues. I put new plugs, a new solenoid (just because the other one looked corroded), and a general tidying up of the interior when first taken custody of.
Pump has recently had impeller sharpened, and I will be doing a little greasing and maintenance on it tomorrow.
This is the lightweight 3 cyl Evinrude, and I will include TWO pressurized metal tanks. This would be the perfect motor to put on your jonboat or small river sled that came from the factory with a 50. More performance for very little extra gas. I also have access to a prop lower unit if you want both, for an extra fee.
$1150 obo, willing to consider part trades for 50hp 4 strokes ( I have cash for the difference).
