good points all - and conversely, the proper reaction to such bs is *not* to spout on about how the next time you are out you will be frying a bunch of fish to spite these people.

I like what
Fisherman_max said -- keep what you intended to eat. That's what I do. I tend to catch my fish in clumps, I'll get 3 or 4 limits in a row then go 4 months without any, then string 4 more limits together again of nice sized fish. I know I could probably always go back and do well, it's just I don't need that fish right then. I like my fish fresh - catch it, eat it, smoke it. I always eat what I take from a lake, and love it smoked!

Normally I dont keep alot of freshwater fish because if I did that I couldnt eat all of them before they went bad.Now Salmon and some other saltwater fish like cod or halibut if I catch my limit I keep it because I perfer the taste of those fish over freshwater fish. What I dont eat I give to my elderly grandparents or the neighbor in the wheelchair kinda thing. Some days I keep some days I dont. But I know like most everyone else om here I dont want someone else telling what Im doing is wrong as long as Im within the law.I remeber the fish KuttKilla had showed pictures and boy were they tasty looking I haven't ate cutthroat before do they any diffrent than rainbows.By the way awesome fish KuttKilla.Especialy when you cut them open to reveal the stomach contents.Keep up the good work yall.

If I'm in the mood for fish for dinner or a meal real soon I keep the fish if its legal too.I dont need to fill my freezer with fish cuz I prefer to eat fresh fish not frozen. If I'm out to relax and just enjoy comradery with my friends or just out relaxing I C&R.I bass fish and if I want to eat bass I keep it unless I can tell its a egg laden female.I guess its to each their own as long as it is within the legal limits of the WDFW.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Thats what Im talking about.

I thought that was what this site was all about.Sharing fishing info such as locations, lures or bait, depth and so on and to also show off your catch for all to see.Brag a little when you got a good fish or a place to mope when you get skunked. You know kinda like that shows Cheers but with a little less alcohol since the kids might be reading this. For the ones (which I havent met on here yet) who want to ruin a real good thing please dont go some where else to do that.No one on here is being criminal with his or hers fishing practices.Instead of condeming someones right and privlige to take their limit home. How about spend that time and energy to taking a kid fishing or doing some service work to enhance the current fish populations. That will last alot longer than brow beating someone plus you'll probably feel good about yourself when your done.I know I do.

you can tell which of the fish ate more crawfish/bugs and the fish that ate more fish because of the color of their flesh.

The path of the righteous fisherman is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of C&R men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, keeps his legal limits of fish, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the feeder of lost children. I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to preach C&R to my brothers in a harassing manner. And you will know my name is Aaron when I lay my IP based ban upon thee.
I am glad you can block ip addresses. No one should harass any one.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

It could also have to do with the fact that they have recently been spawning...

Well cutts mainly spawn in Feb. and March and come out in full vegenece in April and May then head deep in June and July and then come up again to eat perch, etc. off points like Arrowhead, Groat, Coleman Pt. They all spawn at different times but they are early spring to late winter spawners.

Too bad we can't block certain users, as in a "block all PM's from this user" or "block user." I think it would be sweet when integrated in the new site upgrade...I know I'd use it a few times or two.

Yeah, I saw another slam on a fishing report because someone LEGALLY kept a sea-run cutt.
Harassing people for LEGALLY keeping fish is just down-right retarded. Maybe we should add a qualifer to our fishing reports like:
"I caught and released 5 fish."
* - Fish were released into hot oil. :chef:
