Any tips to share for the upcoming season?
Or do you think they'll even have it again?

Re: Skagit River Reds
Plunking little purple spin-n-glows with a 2 inch pink hootchie tipped with prawns or sand shrimp. Keep it close to shore, like less than 20 ft. It's really hit and miss, but when a school passes by just about everyone hooks up. Oh, and ALWAYS bring mosquito repellent, there are tons of mosquitos along the river in July. TONS. I've personally made the awful mistake of not bringing repellent the first time and it sucked. I fished for four hours with them buzzing around and biting me. When I came I was itchy as hell, I counted more than 30 mosquito bites. So ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS bring repellent.
