We launched out of John Wayne marina a few times many years ago to fish Hein, Eastern and Partirdge Banks, but havent been back up that way in at least 10 years.
Fishing inside seems to be pretty poor at the moment and with area 9 closing as of Monday, the choices inside seem pretty poor. We dont feel like driving all the way to Neah or Sekiu for a day trip, so thought we would try area 6.
We might go next Thursday and drop some crab pots somewhere around Dungeness Bay while we look for coho and pinks. We have never crabbed in that area and I havent seen any reports about crabbing. We are hoping that Dungeness Bay will have some Dungeness crab somewhere
