I got to Amber about 7:30 am.  The lake was calm and about 67° at the surface.  Fish were rising just about everywhere.  
I began with a brown dry pattern to match the hatch.  This produced 4 fish, two cutthroats and 2 rainbows.  
After things slowed down I began to see some damsels coming off in the weeds along the side.  I used a tan damsel pattern with floating line and casted parallel to the shore.  This produced several fish over the next few hours.  
I loaded out around 12:30 with at least 20 fish caught ( I lost count).  The largest was about 20" with most in the 15" range.  4 or 5 were cutthroats with great color.
