   So I have found a great fishing hole, it is really just amazing.  At the mouth of this tiny no name creek dozens of salmon are schooled up.  I'm really into catching these sea-run cutties just to release them of course, but they are so beautiful and give such a great fight.  Anyways I was fishing this spot were my cousin and I had hooked up some SRC yesterday.  I was using a favorite gold spoon "pot of gold" from rainbow plastics, ( I've caught many SRC on this lure before).  On my 5th cast i hooked up with a monster.  He ripped my line out, I held the rod tip high and enjoyed the fight.  To my surprise once i had it on land it was not a SRC at all but a COHO a nice 5 lbs.  I caught one more coho even bigger within 30 mins and a SRC too.  The set up was a simple gold spoon nothing else i was fishing my usual super lite set up ( i always use for SRC) a 4'11'' ultralight ugly stik with 6 lbs test!  Ive never landed a fish so BIG on such lite tackel wow what a thrill.  PS was this fish legal?  The rule booklet is unclear, in one section is seems to say no wild salmon may be retained in areas 5-13 then in the reg for area 10 it says only wild steelhead and chinook need to be released, what is the deal does anyone know?
