Went below John Day with a buddy to see if we could find some walleyes, Spent most of the day locating them and getting them to bite, What a beautiful day sunny and a light breeze, Finally located some fish on the bite down by Miller Island about 3PM. We wound up with 7 nice eyes 18"-22" . Caught all of them on a worm harness in about 30' of water. Still prespawn. Tried for some bass for about an hr and gave that up, water temp was 46.8 deg.
