7/23/2020 8:40:16 AMThank you for our detailed video and report! That is very helpful. I am still trying to learn how to do a better job at filleting a fish. I usually have one side that is okay, but the other... well, not so great. Tips and suggestions anyone?

7/23/2020 9:42:58 AMPersonally I think an electric fillet knife helps a lot... although it's easier to blow through a backbone... I use a 12v Rapala knife for everything from Crappie and Perch up to Fall Chinook! I never leave home without it!

7/23/2020 9:47:43 AMoh... for chinook I had to get the longer blades... they are usually displayed near the knife at sporting good stores.

7/23/2020 10:37:57 PMAnother thoroughly informative and enjoyable report. Just to confirm, the limit is two sockeye per day - correct? A friend told me you could catch two chinook in addition (if you were lucky or good enough).

7/24/2020 2:04:21 PMEnjoyed your small boat fishing trip, like a hatchery! Must be nice using your FF only to not hit an obstruction. I set the drag on one pole lighter and turn the reel "click" ON to notify me of strikes, rather fish-on. Saves watching both. You can enhance the taste of the meat by cleaning after conking ASAP after netting- not let fish hit boat or items (while in net) to bruise the meat there- sending even more adrenaline and acid to permeate. If you pulled that fish from a live well, great, otherwise it starts to decompose on micro level after death starting in stomach. Stringers send much more go-juice to the meat for a longer period of time. Bleed the spine blood-line to rid of acids and store fish in swimming position next to ice (plastic between) to drain the meat. 30 seconds equals double adren.- 2nd chart--http://itech.fgcu.edu/faculty/ndemers/Demers%20CBPa.pdf
