fished Sekiu Sunday Monday and Tue morning.
First-I used the "new" state launch (old Mason's) according to the woman at Mason's they did not purchase all that they show on their website. There is NO truck and trailer parking and only the east side of the parking lot half way from the lunch toward their trailer parking. But Mason' will let you park for $20. Isn't that about what they had charged for launch in the past?
I was staying a Van Riper's so parked there.
I had a ruff time I was getting sone on but just kept losing them. I had maybe 4 over the whole time that really felt good. taking line and then just not there. Several lost at the boat that might have made the cut. I released I think 3 or 4 short ones.
Tue morning 4 am to 8 had 2 or 3 on then was able to get a 8.5 lb king in the boat. And it was time to head home.
Weather was not bad, clouds and sun with wind in the afternoon as is the norm. I fished all day with lunch and dinner breaks. got tossed around in the afternoon.
Most fishing was in 50 to 150 FOW with the ball from 20-110. Mostly spoons no bate. I did go out to 450 FOW 45 ft down and picked up and lost one and got one about 8" that I probably was dragging for a while.
