transducer for old Eagle Magna II plus
anybody now where I can find a transducer for an Eagle Magna Plus II. If you read my other post you know that I cut my transducer wire to shorten it before doing any research. I'm kicking myself for it, too.
Thanks

RE:transducer wire
ok that was really stupid...Anyone now where I can get a new transducer for this thing? I responded to the craigslist ad and heard nothing back. Anyone else have any ideas? Also this thing is pretty old anyway. What's the best fish finder I can get for $250 or less if I can't find a new transducer? ...

new end on ultralite rod
I posted this thread once but didn't get any answers. I think I put it in the wrong category. Anyway I broke the tip off of my 6'6" Quantam Ultralite and was wondering if I cut it down to the next eyelet and bought an eyelet to cap the end with, if it would hurt the integrity of the rod. Does it sti...

I had an idea today and would like to know what you all think. My wife and I were talking about how many fish we catch in a summer and thought it would be a good idea to give some of them to people that are hungry or just want fish but don't have the resources to catch that many. We don't keep fish ...

RE:transducer wire
the speed and temp seem to be working fine, and I don't know what a fish finder will read when it's not in the water but the depth blinks 0.0 ft Is that normal?

transducer wire
I think I messed up. I hooked up and used the new fish finder I talked about in another post today. After getting home I thought I would get rid of about 15 ft of extra cable on both the speed/temp wire and the transducer wire. I figured that just like anything else electrical you could cut and just...

RE:Fish Finder Help
I got the fish finder working tonight. I installed the inline fuse like you said. I also went with gorilla glue for the transducer (haven't tested it on the water yet, but it doesn't come off very easily). I decided to scratch the speedometer deal. I don't really care how fast a 4hp motor will push ...

new end on ultra lite rod
So here's the deal..I got a Quantam Ultra Lite for my birthday a few weeks ago. I took it out one time and caught no fish. So the second time I was a going to go out on a very unsuccessful camping/fishing trip to Sprague. I got the boat anchored and started to rig it up and noticed the tip was broke...

RE:quick advice on camping spot
thanks for all the advice and yes hewesfisher we do have a 4hp mercury and a 30lb thrust endura is that enough power to get around on that lake? I went on a guided trip with Ray Bailey last year for walleye up there. At least I think that's where we were. We launched at porcupine bay. Also for every...

Fish Finder Help
We were just given a fish finder and would like some advice on proper setup. First I'll let you know what we're dealing with. We have an '85 HewesCraft 12ft with a 4 hp Mercury and a 30lb thrust endura. My questions are...as far as the speed sensor and the actual transponder(if that's what you call ...

RE:quick advice on camping spot
correct me if I'm wrong but aren't there only a few lakes that are actually open before the 24th and is that the forecast for the weekend or just tomorrow? heard the weekend would be the mildest days of the week.
Thanks
