Re: Anyone know why there's dead fish at lake Washington?
Wow...yes I think whatever chemicals were used really damaged the perch this year,I don't know if if recommend eating perch from Lake Wa,I know it's a huge lake and not all perch were affected by the chemicals, but I'm pretty sure you can find traces of it in the fish. I'm sure it won't cause any har...

Anyone know why there's dead fish at lake Washington?
Yesterday 06/07/15 the wife and I went down to Kirkland water front for dinner and a walk and I noticed A lot of dead fish along the shore at the main waterfront and Carroline beach,Waverly beach. I know that there were mostly perch, some small trout, and a lot of smaller fish that were approx 3 inche...

Re: rule change at rattlesnake lake king county
I believe so,the lake was is over populated with trout which decreases the amount of food. I think WFWD realized that so the want to decrease the population of trout so more can survive. In the most recent report of rattle snake lake the guy mentioned that he saw a few dead fish on shore,id rather ha...

rule change at rattlesnake lake king county
Starting June 6th you can keep a daily limit of 5 trout at Rattlesanke lake until Sept.30th 2015. The lake seems to be overstocked and fish seem to be on the skinnier side.

That's a pike minnow,it has more like a bass type mouth when white fish have a small mouth and tend to be more silver.

Re: Taking the Bait: Time to buy my first fly setup
Id give cabelas a try, they have decent gear for that price(fly fishing isn't cheap, lol). I'd suggest possibly a 5wt rod, you'll get good action even with smaller trout(especially cutthroat) yet if you catch a bigger one it'll still do the work. The biggest I pulled out with my 5wt and a 4lb line was ...

Re: Mercury 9.8M
I'm defiantly not a professional, but I did buy broken outboards and fix them up. My most recent was an early 90's 8hp Nissan-seemed to work fine started up after sitting for a while.took it out on the lake and worked fine for about 30 min then every time I put it into gear it would dye. So first thi...

Re: Legalities of WDFW Police personal property search
Well from what I understand if you are fishing/hunting they have the right to check your coolers/boats/cars if they believe you did something illegal. Game wardens do have more search rights then police officers, in some cases they can check markets, houses, refrigerated with out warrants if they beli...

Yes like I said it would be wonderful to have him deported.people like that don't know what a fair lifestyle is,don't know what a regular job is,just a trashy immigrant who thinks the government owes him something.im sure he broke other laws that he never got caught for,I just don't see how a person...

Re: Snaggers get caught!!
This should read poachers. The snagging is the least of their offenses. Seriously. I'm glad they got 'em though. You are absolutely right,so I corrected it:),I hope they weren't US citizens so they can be deported.honestly we don't need people like that here, not only considering the fact that they ...

Snaggers/poachers get caught!!
here's a story I thought you guys might be intersted in reading.first of all I want to thank WDFW for doing an amazing job on tracking these guys down,I just wish it could have been done earlier even though I know stuff like this takes a long time,it's just irritates me how much steelhead and other ...
