Fly Fishin partner??

Post by chironomid_guy » Tue Apr 01, 2008 11:12 am

Anyone online that fishes northern Wa? I flyfish with the wife a lot, but sometimes we have work shift conflicts. I have fly fished the Colville, Kettle Falls area for several years now and am very familiar with those lakes. Anyone interested in fishing a few days or forwarding info, feel free to contact me. I have been ffishing some 25 yrs, tie and rod build, so Im not a "newby" by any stretch. I also ffish southern BC if anyone is interested. TTFN

Some time we will have to hook up. To be honest with you, I fish hardware with friends, and solo fly fish for the peace and quite, at least most of the time.

It might be nice to have a friend to fly fish with again.:bounce:
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.

Chronny guy, I had to Google your location to find where it is! You definately are up on the Canadian border. About as far N&E that I get from Mukilteo is Lake Roosevelt, and thats only a few times a year. Next time I plan on getting up that way maybe we can go fishing somewhere.

Im game but I have no boat this year.....I thought it would overwinter outdoors just fine like it did last year but then the landlord decided to pile a 10 foot tall snowpile on top of it! So my aluminum boat has popped some rivets and is a bit banged up as the landlord also hit it with his backhoe.....landlord said he would still give me $300 for it or try to fix it for me.......i'll post a thread with pics soon.

I've been itchin to get out and catch some fish now that the weather is warming up....trying to convince my 3yr old he wants to go fishing at the mouth of the colville today but he is more interested in watching Sesame Street right now lol.

Had bought some tackle from Cabella's and Joe's that Im wanting to try out

I do. I just found this site. I live in Spokane but fish all over. Most of my fishing buddies are recently married or pumping out kids (or both). I know your country well and am always looking for someone to fish with. I have a drift boat, a lake boat, and a cat and have a tough time getting someone out with me as often as I want to fish. I will be up that way alot in the next few months. pm on the way.
