waterboatmen

Post by zen leecher aka Bill W » Tue Aug 19, 2008 12:56 pm

I was over to one of the seep lakes below Mardon the day after the fire ended. The end of the lake I was on was full of waterboatmen, full enough where I'd never seen them like that. There was so many that as they popped to the surface it looked like a light rain from all the dimples.

Lake was the one below Corral. I'm not sure if it was Blythe or Chukar.

I've seen them like that on other bodies of water before, but ususally the fish pick them off so fast that they don't get that thick. (LOL)
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.
