We have a super cool river forum that has all the topics you need. Just search the forum with the search box. That being said, now that it's moved, the Stilly is a scenic river to fish. The south fork will have wild fish, very few hatchery fish to keep. It's the north fork that is a lot of fun. Although the numbers are not very great and you'll work for all your fish I love the place because of it's scenery. The main stem it fun to fish too, when they're coming up they sometimes hold around there for a while. As for the Samish, it gets 'em too. You can fish more of the river for 'em too. Since you're in Everette, if you want a good chance of coming home with fish, the Sky is a great place to fish with a lot more fish to catch.

No, river only, keep all the river fishing in the river forum so all the river fishermen can find it easy, and give proper info/help as needed without looking all over the place. Thankyou.

OOOOhhh.... Big bad moderator get some starch in his undies this morning???? I see at least 5 references to river fishing on the first page of the fresh water section. Have a Xanax and walk around the yard. How about we have a little consistency?

I guess my main question is this. Where the Stilly and Pilchuck Creek meet a good place for steelies? Lots of silvers there to but cant keep any out of there can only keep steelies and reg trout.

Ive never caught a steely in pilchuk, but its a good sea run cut river. Ive heard of people catching steelies in pilchuk though.

Thank you for the info. I may have to try the actuall Pilchuck river. I havent given up on the silvers yet this year though.

I dont have the rule book and my computer cant read the wdfw page that has the rules but make sure you look up the rules on the pilchuck i know the season is short and their isnt much fish your allowed to keep if i remember right

I know your allowed to kepp steelies and reg trout out of the pilchuck, but silvers and pinks need to be catch and release in there.
