How is the fishing out there? Zero reports! Curious how the run is shaping up?

I'm curious too. I'm headed to shelton to visit my parents for the weekend and plan on checking it out while i'm there.

One of my fishing buddies has buddies that fish there a lot. His buddies have been telling him that they are trickling in, but it's been pretty much the same as the rest of the rivers...slow. It will pick up pretty quickly through October.

Its pretty slow. Fished it yesterday. Threw spinners and eggs up into the wood. No takers. Stopped by the natives fish garage and its been slow for them. They had maybe 25 fish for netting all day.

Checked it out for a few hours this morning. Didn't see a thing. Quit early and am going to make sure my muzzle loader is still sighted in for elk season which starts in one week! Woohoo!

just got back from the skok. saw one guy walking down the road with 6-7lb silver. some in the river. stopped at the hatchery and saw a couple among the kings. one dead king had a lead wrapped treble hook beside it.

stopped at hoodsport and quillcene hatcheries also. nice kings I wish I would've caught in hoodsport, plenty of summer chum at quillcene river.
