Lower Columbia in Nov?
My brother has a wild idea for his Nov vacation next week - fishing on the lower Columbia. We haven't fished the lower Columbia in many many years and that was just for sturgeon. Sturgeon is of course closed to retention everywhere so thats out.
Is it even worth going this time of year for salmon, bass, whitefish or walleye?
Looking a catch reports it looks like right below Bonneville would be best bet for Salmon - maybe. I couldnt find any reports for the area between Bonneville and the Dales.
We are considering anywhere from bouy 10 to the Dales.
Any ideas or tips would be great.

Thanks!
Waiting on weather reports now. If the steel head runs starts we may end up in the lower river - or head east instead....

Went to ringold on the mid Columbia. Did see quite a few steelhead being caught. That being said it was the first time there. Other options would be plunking the Columbia wherever you feel is a passing lane for steelhead. Spin n glow baited with either shrimp or eggs close to shore. Never caught a walleye so can't help there.
