I use a 9'3 or a 9'5 medium heavy action. I use 15-20lb test main line with a 10lb leader line. Shimanu pole with a dawia 2000 reel

8'6-9'6 medium to medium heavy with 12-20lb test 3000-4000 reel is basic but it all depends on what you are fishing for and where and how you want to to fish for them.

i use the Lamiglas rod in my sig for steelies and springers, and the Berkley rod for kings.
I would say if I only had one rod for steelies and springers it'd definitely be a 8'6"-9'6" medium action rod usually rated about 8-12lbs and about 1oz max lure weight. It will do everything reasonably well. My Lamiglas is a medium action 8'6" spinning rod. I got it new for about 30% of the list price on Ebay and couldn't pass it up. I probably would not have paid the full $280 for it and got something more affordable.
If I only had one rod for big fall fish & kings I would recommend a 9'-10'6" medium heavy rod rated at 10-17 to 12-25lbs. These usually support a max lure weight of about 3 oz so you can sling some pretty decent lead for plunking. Again it will do everything well. My Berkley is an 9' medium heavy IM-8 Air. I got it on sale for $70 at Sportco. I would put it up against ANY rod costing upwards of $200.

I use a Lamiglas certified pro 8-17 for silvers and steelhead Lamiglas g200 10-20 for kings.

Like said above, depends what you will be fishing for.
I have a 10 foot convergence, its 8 to 17 lb line. Still gets fights out of humpies and sokeyes, but strong enough to pull 35 pound lings out of the rocks and jig up 45 lb kings in the salt. So any rod from 8'6 to 10' and around the same line rating will do you fine.
