Hi everyone. Going camping this weekend with the wife on the Teanaway. Does anyone know if this river is fishable? Fly fishing/ spin caster. Thank you!

Opens June 1st selective gear rules.
Yakima is open below Easton, also selective gear. The big reservoirs are open. Good luck!

It is probably a raging torrent now anyway if it is like any of the other rivers/creeks this time of year with all the snow pack melting and rain. Every creek and river on both sides of Stevens pass was full and muddy last weekend, so probably similar at Teanaway. Warm days are melting lots of snow.
Make sure your tent is on high ground.

The Teanaway is the number one source of "color" (mud, silt, whatever......) for the Yakima. Above that the river, through Cle Elum it should be fishable. That said the fish per mile is about a third of what the lower river is and the they're typically a bit smaller. More Cutts than Bows. That's a very beautiful area, especially this time of year and with all the rain we've had. Have fun, be safe, always wear a PFD even if you're wading.
