Tiger Muskie anglers:
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) Region 2 Warmwater Team is seeking information on your Tiger Muskie fishing trips to Evergreen Reservoir (Grant County).
Specifically, WDFW is interested in:
How many days a year do you fish at Evergreen Reservoir?
What month do you start?
On average, how many fish do you catch a day? A year?
Would you be willing to help WDFW biologists learn more about the growth and and abundance of Tiger Muskie in Evergreen Reservoir? Each Tiger Muskie year-class has a unique location where coded wire tags are implanted under the skin. We can detect what year each fish was stocked (and how old each fish is) by using a wand that detects the location of the tag.
If you are a Tiger Muskie angler and would like to help us learn more about these great fish please email me at [email protected] (ATTN: Mike Schmuck) or call me at the number listed below.
Thank you,
Mike Schmuck
