I want to take the kids fishing today/tomorrow. Kokanee (or bass) sound like fun. Any good place to go in king county? No boat -though I have a RIB that I could inflate if necessary.

Welcome to the forum! "No" on the Kokanee, especially without a boat and downriggers. Its been a rough year for Kokes in our area. Hopefully others can give you an answer on the bass. Lake morton, Deep lake (nolte st park), lake wilderness and lake holm all have decent shore trout fisheries. Good luck!
