Last report I heard was from a week ago. Docks were underwater over a foot, guy left and went to Washington due to it without fishing. Haven't been out there in a while but would nearly guarantee with the recent snow and melt off that they are still submerged and will most likely stay that way till after our Trny. Hopefully somebody has been out and will tell me I am wrong, need to start pre-fishing.

From the NewsTribune: Washington: The weather has pretty much shut down the fishing this week.

This, in my opinion, is the toughest time for fishing anything around here. The month of February is SLOW all over, and it's a great time to tie flies, and start prepping for some March plants, and some wild times in late April. Just an FYI: Washington is not worth fishing right now it's so slow, but then again, someone might pull out a wild silver salmon and surprise me. The bass fishing is slow, but you can land one or two if you get on top of them.

Western Bass Club just had a fish-in there yesterday. I heard from 2000Subaru that they were at water level and covered with goose poo.

Sorry I couldn't get on to post yesterday. I was on Sammamish on Saturday, the water temp was aroung 41-42 degrees, and the docks were no longer submerged. It was my first time on the lake, so I am unfamiliar as to what the normal levels are at the launch. The dock tops were exposed and walkable. Like Dilbert mentioned, they were however very slick and covered in Canadian Migratory Solid Waste ( Goose crap). The fishing was slow, not one hit for me, and the other boat that I was fishing with. We were in about 50-60' without any luck. A few other folks pulled a fish or two. I believe one of the sunker forests was productive. Nice easy launch, just wish the docks had something solid to hold on to. Thanks to the WBC for showing me around, still lookin for my first fish on the boat and for 08'.
