Lake Fishing in WA (Hood Canal Area)

Looking for some advice as far as rigs and bait.
Pretty avid fisherman from FL. My wife is from Washington and we visit around 3 times a year and in July i figured it was time to start fishing the lake they have a place on near Belfair.
