Replacing clear plastic window canvas.

Post by salmonkiller » Mon Jun 05, 2017 12:31 pm

Two questions.
1.- Does anyone know someone local (Puyallup-Tacoma area) who can replace the clear plastic on my side windows?
I have seen some canvas supports (metal rods) that have a thin layer of stitched upholstery (foam) wrapped around them.. Mine doesn’t have this and the previous owner always trailered with the canvas up.. this cause excessive wear on the clear plastic.
2.- Where would someone get these foam wraps?

Thanks-

One other thing, on my top they stitched in some 1" wide material where the rails hit the plastic to provide protection to the plastic from the support beams. Just an idea.

As far as foam wraps, you can use pipe wrap.
