OK.... Still standing in OE, but now focused on salmon nets.
Does anyone have a strong recommendation on a salmon net that you like?
I am looking at either this 6 or 8' Gibbs net.
It does not have the standard tapered shape to the net. It is sorta full on square shaped netting.
Appears to be a synthetic sorta rubbery material that is knotless, and rather thin diamter to netting material.
I prefer something knotless, but does not have to be in the realm of the very expensive wooden/rubber nets that you would find in a fly shop.
The Gibbs is only $49.00

Re: Salmon net recommendations?
I use the Danielson Knotless nets, They are inexpensive and work just fine. In fact, if you have a good hoop and handle and just need a knotless net, you can pick one up at OE for around $10. I have replaced both jumbo and intermediate sized knotted nylon nets with them. They are very easy on the fish and the wallet.

I thought knotless were required now?
