Thanks for all the info guys. With the "hands on" experienc with the different units I will feel much better making a purchase. However the bad part is I found out not to long ago that I will be held up until about the first week of April before I get back home so the good thing is I have plenty of time to find something I'll be happy with on the lake and make the wife happy with the wallet.
So yeah I think I'll continue looking around seeing as how I have no immediate need for a fish finder in Afghanistan.haha
