This is scary.
I just returned from a two-week fishing trip to the northern tip of Vancouver Island. The fishing was poor to say the least and now it appears that trend is continuing in the lower Sound. Today I visited the Redondo ramp to check and see how things are going. I was in shock to see only two boat trailers in the parking lot. Normally this time of year it is a complete zoo. There was not a fish checker to be found and the only information I did manage to get was the fishing is horrible. In a recent article in the Fishing and Hunting news it mentioned a projected 100,000 kings to return to the lower Sound – the best in decades. Were are they………?

RE:This is scary.
It is still pretty early. I wouldn't start worrying until mid-August.
