Hope and Trap Lakes in the Central Cascades

Here's a hike my son James and I did last September. Trap lake was a lake I visited in the late eighties. I had an incredible day catching dozens of beautiful cutthroat trout. That memory had been with me all these years and I finally got to return to the lake. (the hike is spectacular as well) Trap did not disappoint! The cutthroat are still there and the lake is as beautiful as ever. What a great place we live in!
