Is there a Colton in the house?
or does anyone know a Colton from Lacey?
I found his backpack in a parking area at the skookumchuck, (fishing license was inside) and will be returning it to him ASAP.

His address was on the fishing license inside, just trying to see if he was a member here (or known). Going to try that address this afternoon.
Thanks for the idea though!

For some reason I think it might be EAmon ___hoffman123's name, but then, I get confused easily ![Blink [blink]](./images/smilies/msp_blink.gif)

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Re: Is there a Colton in the house?
LoL well this wasn't a prison address, but the amount of tackle in his backpack was almost larcenous. Extra reel, extra spool for different reel, about a 1000 corkies of every size and color imaginable (and some I've never seen before at sportco or cabelas) about 100 different spoons and spinners, a couple pounds of pencil lead and other weights, tons of jigs and soft plastics...had to dig to the very bottom to find a ziplock with his fishing license in it.
Damn pack weighed about 40 lbs. Cant imagine packing that thing around the woods at the skook, especially after I hiked/fished the stretch from the parking area at the cable hole all the way to the powerlines downstream.
With that said, it's back where it belongs, and I'm glad I could help someone out.

I can only hope so!!

Heck I would be happy enough to find my knife the next trip down there. $30 and only got half a days use out of it. You know how much of a PITA it is to cut eggs with a needlenose pliers?

Nice work hookit! Always uplifting to hear about people helping people. I hope Colton was appreciative of your efforts.
A few years ago I went to fish Beaver Lake and saw a note posted on the fence down by the water at the boat launch indicating someone had found some fishing poles with a phone number to call to claim. After launching and parking the truck I was walking back down and up at the main WDFW board up the launch I saw different note that someone lost a couple fishing rods with a number to call if found. Well, putting two and two together, I called the number of the guy that lost his rods and gave him the number of the guy who found a couple rods. Yup, they were his rods. I hadn't given the guy my phone number, but he still managed to call me back and voice his appreciation of that simple act.
May you be blessed with many big fish in return!
Or at least a replacement knife for the one you lost.

Great job! Excelent Karma points or what ever you like to call them. Don't loose your knife or pliers, pick up a cheap pair of scissors and you'll never look back. After you cut your piece you can use them to pick up your chunk.gonnahookit wrote:fishenfreak wrote:20lb steelhead next trip i betgoodtimesfishing wrote:That much gear and all, and you did the right thing! karma is a funny thing, you have some good stuff coming.
