I had a fishing buddy years ago that would do those things always. We couldnt fish just 1 day without him taking the motor or gear box apart. We would drift from Alki to Blake just so he could work on it.

Ya, that's what I kinda expected, the whole engine to be engulfed in flames. [laugh]

I'll have to try that. Mine wouldn't keep running today, I cleaned out the carb and am going to get a new flywheel key tomorrow as I hit a rock yesterday just as I finished, and then it ran like it was out of balance, the key looks just a little bent. It's a weird looking key, square with a rib on it that's bent.
